A sourcing partner built around the vessel, not the catalogue

Shake Spares supplies marine spare parts and components to ship management companies, shipowners, and maritime transportation companies — with fast quotation and dependable sourcing at the centre of the service.

Who we are

K&C Marine Tech — trading as Shake Spares

Shake Spares was established in 2026 in Busan, Republic of Korea, to serve a straightforward need: vessels need the right parts, and they need answers quickly. As a young company we are not carrying the habits of a large trading house — we are building the service around responsiveness, clear communication, and correct specification.

We supply marine spare parts and components for vessels, providing genuine OEM parts, equivalent parts, and replacement parts to meet different customer requirements. Our supplier network spans a wide range of machinery and component groups, which lets us pursue items that others decline as difficult to locate.

What we do

Supply, sourcing support, and quotation

We work as an extension of the technical and purchasing side: send the requirement, and we come back with what can be supplied, from where, and on what basis.

Spare parts supply

Supply of marine spare parts and components for auxiliary engines, compressors, and the surrounding machinery, matched to the vessel's specification.

Multi-option sourcing

Genuine OEM, equivalent, and replacement options — presented so the technical side can decide what is acceptable for the equipment.

Quotation service

Individual quotations for each enquiry, with maker references, available documentation, and lead times stated in writing.

Difficult-to-find items

Support on older machinery and discontinued references, where locating a viable option takes supplier reach and persistence.

Consolidation & shipping

Parts consolidated in Korea and shipped by the most suitable method, with shipping documents provided on dispatch.

After-quotation follow-up

Technical questions, revisions, and delivery updates handled by the same team that prepared the quotation.

Why Busan

Close to the makers, close to the ships

Busan is one of the world's largest port cities and sits inside the Korean marine equipment cluster. That position gives us practical advantages we pass on to customers:

Access to Korean manufacturers

Short lines of communication with makers and suppliers for parts and technical data.

Frequent sailings and air links

Practical routing options for both urgent and planned deliveries.

Consolidation before dispatch

Multiple items collected and checked before a single shipment leaves Korea.

How we work

Five principles we hold to

These are commitments we can keep, whatever the size of the enquiry.

Specification first

We confirm the part suits the equipment before it is offered as a solution.

No overstatement

We describe the parts and the service for what they are, and we do not claim manufacturer authorisation we do not hold.

Reply, then follow up

Enquiries are answered promptly, and we keep you updated rather than waiting to be asked.

Everything in writing

References, options, and delivery terms are confirmed in writing so nothing is left to interpretation.

Long relationships over one-off sales

The aim is to become the supplier you contact first, because the response is dependable.

AI-assisted, human-checked

Our matching workflow speeds up identification; a sourcing specialist signs off every quotation.
